A wise man is full of strength, and a man of knowledge enhances his might, for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory. Proverbs 24:5-6
What Elizabeth has to say about the Forex Course
Thankfully, I took the Advance Strategies Forex and Commodities course recently and the difference between the two was immediately clear. The hands on design of the course using live trades and demo accounts made the concepts quite simple to grasp and apply. I started trading live immediately after the course and tripled my initial investment within one week!

Great Tips: Businesses you can start for less than £500
There's a free mini-course I registered for called Success Through Property that taught me quite a bit about how to buy property under market value, how to negotiate, how to spot deals, how to buy property using other people's money and so on. I found out later that many people who had tried to get into property and failed did not know even a tenth of what I had learned in that free course.
What did the knowledge cost me to acquire? Nothing. What was the capital invested? My time. How much time did it take? 30 minutes each week for 6 weeks. For those who are really serious about investing in property, I would recommend that you get the full course which costs about £100. That's infinitesimal to the knowledge you would gain that could potentially profit you by hundreds of thousands. So don't be penny-wise and pound-foolish.
Let me give you another example, I recently sourced out a wig distributor who provides wholesale services to interested resellers for less than $190. That's the equivalent of less than £120. This offer includes hair swatches, a CD of images, educational classes, promotional information, a manniquin, and so on.
Some people would say, "Yes, it sounds good, but I don't have a shop." With some investigation, I found out that my local council offers a market stall for £6 for the whole day. Even if you don't want to use a stall, what about selling the wigs online? Ah, some might protest, "Do you know the cost of designing an e-commerce site, I could never do that." But you could if you would invest the capital of your time and mind. Go on the web and search for e-commerce solutions that may come free (you would need to learn how to build them) or that you could pay a monthly fee for (as low as £19.99) and simply upload your products. Or simply sell them on Ebay and just pay for the individual listing fee. Altogether, acting on this business idea would cost you less than £500.
Another business idea I sourced out is to resell printing. Some wholesale printers will give a noteable discount and drop ship directly to your customers without their own branding. I know of one who will not charge you anything to register as a wholesale customer. The only noticeable cost I can see is marketing. But effective marketing doesn't need to be expensive marketing if you know what to do. But that's another day's talk.
If you want to learn more about other business ideas that you can start for less than £500, why don't you drop me an email...oops sorry, do your own research!

Q. Can people with visiting visas work as volunteers?
A. No, they are not allowed to do any work whether paid or unpaid in the UK as this will be in breach of their conditions of stay.
If a person wants to come to the UK and do voluntary work then they can apply to come to the UK as a Charity Worker. A second option (although not restricted to unpaid work) is for them to apply to come to the UK as a Religious Worker.
Whichever option they choose, they must first have a certificate of sponsorship from an organization in the UK which they need to submit when they apply for the visa to come to the UK.
Increase Profitability by Cutting Business Costs
I was sent a very useful newsletter from Business Link London today. One of the articles outlined how to increase profitability by cutting costs. They identified key cost areas any business experiences and give very useful tips on how to cut costs in those areas.
Another useful resource provided was a guidance document on using activity-based costing from the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA).

Creating a Buzz on a Budget, Marketing for your Business
When starting a new business most people are trying not to overspend. So one of the places they cut back on is in advertising which is actually very important when starting a new venture. We all can't afford a 30 second spot during the super Bowl but there are a lot of things that we can do that won't cost us a lot.
If you have a vehicle of some sort, whether a car, truck, or van, why not use it as a travelling billboard? You can start with magnetic signs, they are very inexpensive and if you do a lot of driving then a lot of people will see your signs. Now if you have a very nice car and your worried about the finish then what about plastic letters adhered to your window(s)? This can be very effective and very low in cost but you gotta think about this, when people stop for traffic lights, railroad crossings or just for a stop sign their eyes will scout the area. This is a very common thing that almost everybody does. Did you ever stop at a railroad crossing and see these signs that are stuck in the ground with advertising for a mortgage company? They're not being put there because they don't work.
in fact I know of several companies that are selling the service of putting up these signs for small businesses. Again with window lettering you need to use good ad copy have the domain saveupto90percent.com and I had this on my back window of my car. It aroused curiosities when people saw this that they came to my website just to see what they would save up to 90% on. With any advertising you don't want to give them everything, you want them to have questions in their mind so that they will visit your site, your store, or call you to have these questions answered. It's like when leaving a message on an answering machine. If you say to much then why would these people call you back?
When I had a retail computer store I wanted to build a mailing list of possible customer's so I started a raffle. When someone first filled out an entry they got a mousepad with my banner on it. These cost me less than a dollar each which I figured that meant that I had a dollar into each customer. The raffle was for a $1,000 shopping spree in my store and i collected entries for a year before I held the raffle. i then had the winner, which was an eleven year old boy, announced on the local radio. This kid's name was andy and he is responsible for so many referrals. The $1,000 shopping spree maybe only cost me about $400 but I did so much new business because of this promotion.
Business cards, another low cost advertising mechanism. don't just put your name and phone on them put your website if you have one, your email address, and a one line description of what your business does. Now the next thing that needs to be done with your business cards is a visit to your local book store. if you are a Real estate agent or a mortgage broker then go to the section where all the real estate books are and put one of you cards in the bindings of each of the books. somebody who wants more info on buying a house or obtaining a mortgage is going to go to the bookstore and start looking at all the books on this subject. then they will see your business card. If you sell to small businesses then put your biz cards in the section where people go for books on business.
Another area is the magazine section. besides your local book store's what about in your local grocery store/ Do you have a store that sells gift's, what about the local airport, bus terminals, doctors office's? the ideas are endless but you have to figure that somebody will be reading these publication's and they might see your business card.
Regarding radio advertising, did you ever consider AM radio? I used to pay less than 45 per spot for sixt second spots. it was a news talk radio station that also played CNN headline news. People driving in traffic, listening to AM radio were all hearing my commercials. when doing radio advertising it is still expensive if you target certain shows but what i did was called blanket advertising. i would buy a certain number of spots per 24 hour period.
What about advertising at your local movie theater? In between movies, while you are waiting for the next movie, you see advertisments on the screen. These cost maybe a few hundred dollars but a lot of people were seeing them. In Nashville, TN. you could advertise in bathrooms. You have to figure that men using the urinals had nothing to look at but the tile wall in front of them. In Nashville their was a company that sold signs, billboards, in the stalls and above the urinals. it was very effective. इ discovered this method when i was at a good restaurant and had to use the Men's room.
All the local Chinese restaurants and pizza places hire people to hang flyers on all the doors in a certain area. What about having these people hang your flyers at the same time? If your business doesn't compete with the local pizza or Chinese restaurants a lot of them will do this for you at a very minimal, if any, charge.
If you have a website and don't want to spend the money for advertising then make sure your site has good content। Articles about specific topics, Search engines love these sites and you will still get great ranking's. it may take a little longer than paying a company to promote your site but it does work. Look at my NosugarCoating site. The first page has a ranking of 4 but yet I never had the money to spend on Search Engine sumbmission service's or any other type of promotion.

Attracting Your Perfect Job or Career
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all."
Helen Keller
Are you in your perfect job?
Each of us is born with specific talents. Before you can attract your perfect career, work or life, you must be clear about your gifts, talents, and interests.
The challenge for many of you will be that your gifts and talents don’t fit the Standard Industry Classification (SIC) Code. While it may be easy to define the skills necessary to do the job of a welder, bus driver, or receptionist, how does an intrapreneur and an entrepreneur fit into the code? Many people do not! Making career decisions using the status quo is not always beneficial. For many of us, that process misses the mark.
My primary MBA research revealed that the higher up individuals moved on the traditional corporate ladder, the lower their job satisfaction and morale levels were. That is a fact. Even though I was not surprised by the research results, I was not prepared with direct follow-up questions to confirm the exact reasons for their growing job dissatisfaction.
Further evidence points to this: as people progress along the responsibility trail, they have less time and less balance in their lives; there is a growing chasm between their work life and the life they envisioned for themselves. Increasingly they are forced to make choices among the things they value most in life – and they simply do not like the options.
Don't get me wrong. I am not slamming jobs or dedication to work. I do want to point out that your job, career, or business should be there to serve you, not the other way around.
I agree with Dr. Alan Weiss’s opinion on life – we don’t have a work and home life, we simply have a life with all its elements. So if you are in a job or career or business that is not serving you and using your gifts, talents, and interests, then it is time to take action and make a change.
Action Steps to Help You Attract Your Perfect Job or Career
1. Establish what you want in a position, career, or opportunity.
2. Let go of your fear – your choices determine your quality of life.
3. Ask for support. Get feedback from friends, coaches, and colleagues – and tell the truth.
4. Take quiet time to listen to yourself. Expect to receive the answers you seek.
5. Make a list of all the characteristics, qualities, and attributes of your perfect opportunity.
6. Compare that list to your current situation. In many cases, individuals who complete this process find out that – with a few adjustments and a bit of fine-tuning – they can achieve exactly what they wish to accomplish. For some reason, they have not been accepting the fact that they are actually quite close to having what they want. Some individuals must give themselves permission to enjoy their life.
7. Envision your perfect career or business in all its detail. How does it look? Document it, reflect on it, and get excited about living it!
8. Complete assessment and interest inventories to help in the clarification process.
9. If you are the one in five individuals who has achieved perfect responsibility On Purpose, what is your next level? How can you go even higher?
Until next time keep Living on Purpose,

Business Ideas you Can Duplicate
BUSINESS IDEA #1
THE AVON MODEL
One of the most successful companies in the United States of America is the Avon Company. Their success although phenomenal did not happen overnight – it happened after processes of deep thought, and out of such many deep thoughts the idea was born to advance the sales of the company through affiliate distribution of goods.
This lead them to introduce the system whereby persons (affiliates) can buy their products at a discounted rate and sell them back for a specific price, thereby earning the affiliates upwards of 20%. Presently new affiliates earn 50% profit off their first buy and 20% off successive orders. This system however, although revolutionary and successful can be improved upon by a system called viral marketing or business networking.
The problem with the present Avon system of making sales is that affiliates have to go out there and persuade persons to buy. They will not make a sale otherwise. In this competitive market, making a sale is not easy and persuading persons to spend their hard earn money is not an easy task.
The Avon system can be improved in the following ways:
1. Instead of going out there on a one to one basis to recruit buyers, Invest in an Avon business venture. Rent a Small business shop. Spend a certain amount of money per month to buy a fixed amount of goods from all the different offers. Since you’ll have to think about operating costs, you should mark up the price of our goods and sell them at a price where you can earn a significant profit and offer a sizeable discount to your buyers monthly. Buyers can be given a 10% discount on their next purchase of a fixed amount and or they can get 20% off their next purchases when they refer 4 or more persons to buy from you.
2. The Avon Co-operative could be formed. This is a system where persons register with the company and rather than going out to take orders, they will simply refer persons to buy directly from the cooperative. They will earn a fixed income or base salary plus 10 -20% off each of their referrals.
3. Another way the cooperative can be run is that each leader in the cooperative could have responsibility for a set number of sales agents. They will then motivate these sales agents to go out and refer a set number of persons per day to buy. The sales agents will go out with a set number of flyers per day with a set discount on it and their names and their team leaders name on it. When the person off the street comes in to buy, the persons whose name is on the discount papers will earn 10 -20% off every sale.
4. Another way to do it is to recruit persons to join at a price, ask them to refer at least 4 more persons to join and refer at least 8 persons per month to buy. Give them 10% off every person who joins and 20% off every person who buys, or just give them a percentage off the joining or buying person.
5. You could also recruit persons to register with you, buy from you, and refer persons to buy or join and earn a percentage off each referral.
BUSINESS IDEA # 2
THE MELALLUCA MODEL
The Melalluca Model is an excellent model and works similar to the Avon Model. The difference with this model is that persons recruited to become referees do not sell and the products are used by the referees. Persons will by the Melalluca Product to use for themselves, they will then refer 8 persons per every 2 months and they will earn 20% off their first referral and 7 percent off successive referrals.
This system can be improved in the following ways:
1. You can ask persons to register at a fixed price, buy your products and refer 8-10 persons per month for 20% of the first month’s referral and 10% off successive referrals.
2. You can offer 20% for every 1st referral and successive referrals
3. You can offer 10% wholesale referral and 10 % discount off successive purchases.
4. You can ask persons to register for a onetime fee, buy your products once and refer 4-8 persons per month of which they will get 20% off every sale. This difference with this model however is that rather than getting 20% off successive or return referrals, Since they will only be buying your product once, they will get the 20% only of direct 1st referrals, which means that rather than relying on their referees to purchase every month or week, they will have to continually refer that 4-8 persons per month to earn their 20%.
REPLICATION POSIBILITIES
• This system can be duplicated or modelled for almost any business. For example, if you sell books, you could mark-up the prices to ensure against loss and offer a 20% discount for members who buy and refer others to buy. Therefore rather than giving away money every month, you would give away discounts.
• If you own a clothing store or shoe store, the same model could be adjusted to suit the business focus.
• If you own a restaurant, you could give discounted food to returnees.

Analyzing New Business Ideas
Every time I have a business idea or come across a new opportunity I analyze it using these criteria:
Is it really any different from what is currently on the marketplace?
What wants and needs am I fulfilling?
Who will be buying my products or service offering?
How strong are my competitors?
Is the market for my idea growing or shrinking?
Do I have the time and energy to follow through?
Who is going to handle what?
How much initial capital is required?
How am I going to raise extra funding?
What is my maximum total loss including money, time and effort?
What is the potential for return on my investment?
How long is the time frame between initial investment, break even point and getting a return?
What is my exit strategy?
I believe that one should be very careful about how they invest their money. Very often I see people that invest a huge sum of money when the potential for return is low and the risks are high. In this scenario it is better to leave your money earning interest in the bank.
The ideal business idea or opportunity for me, offers a potential for high return, with low initial investment. It focuses on a fast growing marketplace and there is something unique about the proposition.
Alternatively another great form of investment is when the potential for return might not be high but the risks are low, little effort is required and the profits are almost guaranteed. I will only usually consider this type of investment if the payback is rapid and the amount of work required is low.
Let me give you an example based on personal experience on how not to do it. One of the first businesses I started was a packaging company. The market was served by established players and it was being eroded by cheaper imports. Britain's manufacturing base (my customers) was declining as the UK was slowly turning into a service economy. Margins were tight and my customers were willing to change suppliers at the drop of the hat.
Although we did end being successful, the amount of effort and sheer stubbornness required was out of all proportion to the money making potential. This is a classic business idea that should be avoided at all costs! I vowed when I sold this business that next time I was going to get into a fast growing market place where exactly the opposite was true.
Your evaluation for investing in an opportunity might be different from mine, based on your propensity to risk. If you have a family to support than this reduces the amount of risk that you can take on. Your age, your sex and business background all greatly influence the types of opportunities that you can examine.
Before starting a new business, bear in mind that working as an employee has many advantages to being self employed. Your hours are fixed, the return of investment of time might be less but it is certainly guaranteed, at least for the short to medium term. Starting any new business especially for the first time is risky and demands extraordinary effort before any returns are forth coming.
How do you analyze any new business ideas or opportunities?

8 Quick Telephone Interview Tips
1. Print out a copy of your CV and have it to hand
2. Go over the job description and think back to your last 2 jobs about when you had to perform tasks similar to the ones they've asked
3. List them out on a sheet of paper and be ready to use them - examples always put you over during interviews
4. Make sure you're not eating (not even chewing gum) and you're not smoking (if you're a smoker)
5. Speak directly into the handset - don't hold the phone up with your shoulder because sometimes it muffles your voice
6. Take notes during the call
7. Response to difficult question like "How did you get on with your previous boss?"I always had great respect for his professionalism, I learnt quite a bit from him, etc (they want to know how manageable you are)
8. Response to "Why did you leave your former job"Explain about the downsizing caused by the outsourcing of that service. Don't mention anything about strained relations with your former manager, or about personality clashes.
Seven Ways to Increase Your Social Media Marketing Traffic Starting Yesterday
Internet. Business. Profit. To fully integrate all of these words into a successful sentence you will need another word. Traffic. Every article you will find about using social media marketing to promote your product or company successfully will always include the importance of traffic generation.
In simple terms, this means getting lots of people to your door. Lots and lots of people, yesterday, today and tomorrow. The old saying 'Build It And They Will Come' is not quite enough - so throw out any pre-conceived ideas, roll up your social media marketing sleeves and make a start today.
Traffic is king. But not just any old traffic. Targetted, specific traffic and here's a few ideas to get you on track to finding some of it.
So, if we didn't before , we all know now that in the core of it all, traffic is the most essential component to a successful internet business model.
And if you're looking for an internet presence (and if you're not - you should be) it's no use investing in a new state-of-the-art website if nobody is going to see it. Aside from ensuring that you have a great story to tell, a strong brand and you have your internal organization well taken core of, it would be time to get to the nitty gritty of things, generating traffic.
If you already have a site and you're not getting the traffic you want, then its time to reconsider your online marketing strategy and social media marketing could be just the place to start.
To help you out in generating more traffic for your site, here are seven surefire ways to increase your traffic starting yesterday.
1) Facebook - MySpace - Zenzuu
Use facebook and other social media sites to build a community. Invite your friends, supporters and colleagues along to build relationships, interract and exchange stories about your work and your ideas for the future. Facebook has an unwritten etiquette so get to know where to go and where not to when tip-toeing through the tulips but once you start to understand the power of social media you'll be able to send targetted traffic to your site every day of the week by the bucket full.
2) Exchange or Build Links with Other Sites
A great way to raise your profile online is by building links with other similar sites. This is far easier for an individual entrepreneur to do than a big business as you will not be seen as a competitor and so few will have a problem linking to your site if you add a valuable comment to a blog post or subscribe to the blog. Another way is to simply send and email to the site administrator asking to exchange links or make contact directly and build a relationship.
3) Use Youtube's Viral Marketing System
Viral marketing allows you to spread the word about your business or opportunity without any costs or very low costs. Set up a simple Youtube account and keep active, add videos telling your story, showing your work and make them entertaining. If you're struggling to entertain there are some great resources available to help you give your Youtube videos a professional edge. Youtube has been one of the fastest areas of social media marketing growth in the last coulpe of years so jump in with both feet and get ahead of the competition.
4) Research Keywords or Keyword Phrases for Your Niche
Search engines look for certain keywords to indicate what your site is all about. People looking for information about your product or business will search Google or Yahoo using specific phrases or words and these are labelled as keywords. Your content needs to reflect the right keywords, while retaining a natural feel.
5) Write Articles That Can Lead Traffic To Your Site
Submit articles to ezines and online article directories to promote and highlight your work or service and offer search engines a picture of the site by linking to it at the end of the article. Attach your sites description and services at the end of the article as well as the link to your site.
6) Use Social Bookmarking Sites To Build Trust
Capture a market and show your knowledge, expertise and credibility by contributing to the discussion. Social bookmarking sites such as Digg and StumbleUpon will allow you to be a part of the discussion and profile yourself as an expert in the field. Build trust and the traffic will follow.
7) Newsletters.
Don't restrict your social media marketing to online activity alone. Use your current communication format to support your online endeavours and bring your supporters online by the dozen. They may just thank you for it.

Starting a Day Care - The Four Facts
If you were going to ask your friends, could you make a living at starting a daycare out of your home? What do you think they would say?
Chances are they would say no way, but I'm here to tell you different. In fact I'm here to educate you as to the vast amount of potential that lies within this small business. The fact remains in this day in age that we need to be creative in earning money and find ways to earn an income, care for our children, and feel that we have contributed to the happiness of others.
I've talked to a lot of people out there, some who stay home and make no money and others who desperately want to stay home and create some type resemblance of order in their life.
Daycare business is a serious business; it's not babysitting or taking care of a couple of kids here and there. It's about running a profitable small business that provides a viable income.
Below you will discover interesting fact's regarding childcare.
Fact #1 It Really Takes No Money To Start Up This Business
I think this has to be one of the few businesses out there that you can start up for next to nothing. Just think about this for a minute, maybe you have children's items lying around in your basement that no one is using. The funny thing is most daycares utilize the items that around 90% of most households. This would include, couches, small tables, sleeping bags, and of course T.V sets. And in case you don't have any toy's and books, you can always visit the local library and area rummage sales.
Fact #2 Almost Everything is Tax Deductible
Just about everything you use in your house is tax deductible and I mean just about everything! You can also think about tax deductible purchases such as that new couch you bought this year that children sit on, or how about your cell phone bill that parents call you up on. If a household expense can some how relate to your childcare business, than you can write it off.
Fact #3 How Much Money Do Daycare's Really Make?
Here's the real surprise, are you sitting? I made over $90,000 in my daycare last year. Not to shabby, why do you think we hate being called babysitters? When was the last time you met a babysitter that made that kind of money?
Fact #4 Who Is Doing All The Work In The Daycare?
A lot of family daycares employ assistants who help out with Daycare children. While the assistants are working you are doing more important things. Perhaps, caring for your own children, making money at other things, or out just plain out having fun. I work at my daycare perhaps 5 hours per week which gives me lot's of time to pursue other adventures.
Fact #5 You Can Start Your Business Today, and Collect Cash Tomorrow
That really the reality of it all, it's easy to find children to enroll as well. Tell your friends; visit your area schools and churches. Everyone is looking for good childcare and particularly someone they can trust. Why not you?
As you can see, day care is a real business. A lot of people out there are successful and really, are making money and most of all enjoying their time at home with the children and families they care for.

3. ISEB Business Analyst
The role of a business analyst is to demonstrate an understanding of business strategy and strategic analysis techniques. These techniques are used to analyse and model business process and recommend business improvements.
Business analysis also involves the production of a business case covering the development and implementation of business changes.
Just like most people, I thought that you couldn’t gain such knowledge without a full-fledged university degree or diploma that would require at least one year’s training. I was wrong.
ISEB Business Analysis Diploma covers 3 core modules: Business Analysis Essentials, Requirements Engineering, and The Organisational Context. It also requires one specialist module in addition to all of these.
Obtaining a business analyst job may not always require the full diploma because the individual certifications from the core and specialist modules can stand on their own.
I recommend starting with the Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering modules which have no pre-requisites.
Typical duration of each these modules which include the accrediting exam at the end is three days.
Find out more about the ISEB Business Analyst courses here.
There are many other high paying jobs that you could get simply by getting the right certifications. You simply need to know what they are. If others are doing these courses and earning hundreds a day so can you.
